Kevin Walsh Collection: Westie MO-8 Mercury Open Type Flat Wedge
Photo Gallery Streetlights

closeupmo-8Like it's scooper cousin, the flat-bottomed open type wedge was a popular outerborough mercury fixture. It also had it's strength on the t-poles although it could be found on standard hex poles as well. It is actually part of the Westinghouse Silverliner family, which encompasses my favorites, the cheery looking OV-25's. Kevin found this in Flushing, on 41st Avenue near 154th Street.
